Singapore has just announced that they will deduct as much as 36% of their Minister pay.

Singapore PM has deducted as much as 36 percent of his basic pay to Sg$2.2 million. The deduction by 36% still make their PM earning in Million Sing Dollar each year. Singapore is known for the highest paid minister in the world. Their minister deserved to be paid in Million Sing Dollar simply because they are eligible to have that much. They work hard and smart by turning the small island from a fishing village into one of  the businest ports in the world. Basically Singapore has no natural resources, even their water supply is from Malaysia.

                         Malaysian Prime Minister, Najib Razak

Our Malaysian PM is earning as low as  RM22,826.00 basic pay which more or less RM273,912 per year. many corporate figure that call him Boss are earning much higher salary than him.

I guess this figure is below their contribution level to the country. Malaysian PM (as well as his Minsiters should have basic pay of at least RM40K a month as he is a hard working Prime Minister.

We should not deduct our Minister pay put should recomend for higher increment so that thay can focus much on doing their ministerial works instead of keep their eyes here and there for extra income.

What do you think ?
