When I read the star today, it has this heading "When bread has race".

Boycott campaigns of products based on race and politics only shows the shallow-mindedness of some Malaysians.

Yes, In this country or even in other countries, food has race for example;

Tafu jepun - Japanese bean Curd.

kari tambi - Indian Curry

Terung Dayak

and so on....

Even the shop building has race in this country, but also in other countries....we cannot deny these but should not be an issue. For example..Kedai Melayu, gerai melayu, Kedai Jahit Cina, or Kedai India etc. These are just words utter to denote the location or to give presumption what we can get there should we visit the shops.

Just like the foods case above, if you say Roti canai India...our friend will certainly presumed how will be the taste and surely will get the better of Teh Tarik there compare to other shop. But if you will tell your friend that,..lets go to Kedai Roti Canai dayak, your friend will look at you with a surprise face...since when dayak open a Kedai Roti Canai ?
